Few things can unite us like a cup of delicious coffee. Not only do coffee shops provide us with that magical potion that keeps us moving, but they also give us a space to get together with our besties and share what’s happening in our lives. As a photographer, I’m always looking for a new favorite place, whether I need that additional energy for editing or want a new spot to take some intimate and gorgeous pictures. CC’s Coffee House
If you have a sweet tooth and prefer a little bit of coffee with your whipped cream (no shame!), you’ll positively love CC’s Coffee House! This chain was founded in New Orleans in 1995 and has become a staple throughout Louisiana. This means they have all their drinks down to a science! From espresso classics to fabulously sweet drinks, they have just what you crave.
Their storefronts are comfortable and allow you to meet up with friends and enjoy your beverage of choice. The coffee shop has an app that allows you to order ahead of time. You’ll be able to build up reward points that you can use for java in the future!
Light House Coffee
Light House Coffee understands that your drink should be an experience. They’ve worked to create a gorgeous space where you can drink your coffee and feel pretty darn good about it. They’re intentional about sourcing their coffee from direct trade organizations that provide ethical labor. They also work to hire and train displaced people.
They offer some of the best coffee in the city with specialty drinks, including cereal lattes and carefully made pour-overs. Their food selection is also spectacular, featuring toast topped with anything from Nutella to avocado. Their curated menu is a dream for foodies everywhere!
Brew Ha-Ha
Brew Ha-Ha is a cute coffee shop with great drinks and delicious cake balls. The shop was founded nearly eight years ago as a way for a full-time mom to make a little money on the side. Baton Rouge residents tried the shop’s cake balls, instantly making it a local favorite.
You’ll be able to find tons of flavors to go with your drink of choice. The shop roasts its own coffee and has bags available with your purchase. They also have an extensive menu featuring brunch items to go with their amazing desserts!
